Man, 18, arrested by police investigating stabbing of teenager at Swindon school

An 18-year-old man’s been arrested by police investigating at stabbing in March.

A 17-year-old boy suffered stab wounds on the Eldene Nursery and Primary School grounds, on Colingsmead, on the afternoon of Thursday 29 March.

Since the incident, specialist firearms officers have been seen visiting a number of homes in an attempt to locate a man wanted in connection with the stabbing.

Officers arrested the 18-year-old on suspicion of GBH with intent, but have since released him under investigation while they continue to investigate.

The 17-year-old victim has now been released from hospital.
