The staff member sustained minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment but was very shaken by the incident.

The suspects are described as being approximately 6 foot in height and of medium build.

PC Kimberley Weston said: “An investigation is underway and we are conducting a number of enquiries to identify those responsible.

“This was a frightening experience for the victim and we are interested to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw anything suspicious. It is often the case that the smallest piece of information can help lead to a prosecution.”

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or those responsible is asked to contact PC Weston at Salisbury CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
