Motorcyclist injured in crash which saw bike land upside down outside County Ground

A motorcyclist’s been injured in a crash in Swindon this morning.

Police and ambulance were called to County Road, just outside the entrance to the County Ground, where a biker and a white Ford Transit van had been involved in a collision.

The Black Superbyke 125 was damaged in the incident, landing upside down.

Wiltshire Police say the biker suffered minor injuries.

A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: “A male patient who complained of neck pain was taken by ambulance to the Great Western Hospital for treatment.”

There were some delays in the area while emergency services attended to the casualty.
