Man charged after second incident of assault on police at spy poisoning cordon

A man’s been charged after attacking police officers on a crime scene cordon.

Kim Rogerson, 56, of Wyndham Road, Salisbury, was arrested yesterday afternoon at around 5pm in Castle Street, near the police cordon outside Zizzi restaurant.

He has been charged with assaulting a police officer, assaulting a police staff member, being drunk and disorderly in a public place and a racially-aggravated public order offence.

He has been released on conditional bail and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court next month.
