Ambulance and car involved in Royal Wootton Bassett crash

An ambulance and a car have been involved in a crash in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Emergency services are currently dealing with the road traffic collision outside the BP garage on A3102, having been called at around 6.30pm today (Monday).

The occupants of both the ambulance and the car – a woman and her dog – didn’t sustain any serious injuries.

Police and a second ambulance are in attendance, with the road blocked.

In a picture seen by Wiltshire 999s, an emergency ambulance has significant front end damage.

It’s not yet clear whether the crew were responding on blue lights when the crash happened.
