Firefighters are battling a blaze involving an industrial unit in Swindon this afternoon (Friday).
Police have closed Kelvin Road, off Greenbridge Road, as fire crews work at the incident.
The fire is believed to involve the Swindon Powertrain building in Crampton Road, but this has not yet been confirmed.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that at least four fire appliances are on scene at present, with more resources en route.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware that we are currently dealing with a large fire in Crampton Road, Greenbridge, Swindon.
“Residents and members of the public in the surrounding area are urged to remain indoors and keep doors and windows closed at this time. Please avoid the area.”
