Traffic is at a standstill on the A419 near Swindon – as motorists face delays.
Emergency services are dealing with an incident, believed to be a broken down lorry, on the southbound carriageway between Cirencester and Cricklade.
Police have closed one of two lanes, which is causing significant delays.
