Rapid response ambulance was on blue light run when Trowbridge crash happened

A rapid response ambulance car on a blue light run has been hit by a car in Trowbridge.

The crash happened at around 4pm this afternoon, on the A350 crossroads connecting the busy stretch of road with West Ashton Road and Bratton Road.

A lone male paramedic travelling to a 999 call was t-boned by a car when crossing the junction.

The car, thought to be a blue Volkswagen Polo, was carrying two women and two young children.

It’s not believed anyone was seriously hurt in the crash.
