Teenage boy arrested over Swindon robbery that saw man stabbed

A teenager has been arrested over a robbery that saw a man stabbed in Swindon.

Police were called to Malmesbury Gardens, off Dulverton Avenue in ParK North, last Thursday (23 November) following a serious incident.

A man, aged in his 20s, was found to have sustained stab wounds – after he was reportedly robbed of his bicycle in the street.

He was rushed to hospital for treatment and was discharged the following day.

Detectives have since arrested a 17-year-old boy suspicion of grievous bodily harm, robbery and possession of a blade.

He was questioned in custody and has been released on conditional bail.
