A Swindon shop has paid tribute following the death of a respected body piercer.
Blue Banana, located in The Brunel Shopping Centre, announced that it would close today (Wednesday) after staff member Chelsea passed away.
In a statement on Facebook, a spokesperson said: “It’s with a heavy heart that we must share the news that our beloved head piercer and dearest friend Chelsea has passed away.
“We know how many lives Chelsea has touched and brought love too. She was loved by many of our customers and friends of the shop.
“We do ask for some privacy and time while we come to terms with the shock that has happened.
“Chelsea you will be forever loved and missed dearly.”
Dozens of people have responded to the post, leaving tributes of their own.
One person described Chelsea as “a beacon of light”, whilst another said she was the “kindest and sweetest soul”.
The store will reopen for business tomorrow.
