A crash has partially blocked a route in Chippenham this afternoon (Saturday).
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Redland, on the junction with Patchway, shortly before 5pm.
A silver Volkswagen Golf and a yellow Fiat 500 were involved in the incident – with both sustaining significant damage.
A fire crew from Chippenham attended the scene alongside local police but were reportedly stood down on arrival because their services were not required.
Nobody’s thought to have suffered any noteworthy injuries. At 6.15pm, the road remained partially blocked with two PCSOs tasked with waiting for vehicle recovery.
