Man charged with secretly filming in toilet at Great Western Brick Show

A man has been charged following an incident at the Great Western Brick Show.

Police were called to Steam, the railway museum in Swindon, on Sunday (8 October) after a guest alleged that a male was secretly filming in a toilet at a LEGO event.

23-year-old Connor Nevison was arrested and later charged with voyeurism, attempting to observe a person doing a private act and possessing an indecent image of a child.

At Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (10 October), prosecutor Keith Ballinger claimed that a man was using the toilet when he noticed a camera on a phone pointed through a gap in the cubical.

When officers attended the scene, it’s alleged a preliminary examination of a mobile device showed a evidence of its use in the toilet and an image depicting a child being sexually abused.

The defendant, of Rainham Road, Swindon, did not indicate any pleas and the case was sent to Swindon Crown Court for a plea hearing on 10 November. He was remanded in custody.
