Swindon man faces trial after allegedly failing to stop for police

A Swindon man faces trial after allegedly failing to stop for police officers.

55-year-old Timothy Scott is accused of refusing to pull over whilst driving a Vauxhall Astra in Cricklade Road on 18 May this year.

It’s also alleged the defendant wouldn’t provide a sample of breath for analysis when asked, according to Swindon Magistrates’ Court paperwork.

Scott, of Wrenswood, Covingham, denied the charge and was released on unconditional bail until a case management hearing on 16 October.
