Two motorcycles crashed during a funeral procession in Swindon this afternoon (Wednesday).

Approximately 200 bikers joined the cortège for the Cutthroats Motorcycle Club member known as JLo, who died riding his Suzuki Hayabusa on 2 August.

The man, who was aged in his 60s, was involved in a collision with a black BMW on a mini roundabout in Marlborough Road at around 10.15pm.

Today, as the significant number of riders took part in the funeral procession on the northbound carriageway of the A419, a crash occurred.

Two motorcycles collided shortly before 2pm, leaving one – a woman aged in her 30s – with a broken collar bone. She was taken to hospital for treatment.

Traffic was heavy past the scene and on White Hart Roundabout, but the major route was clear by 3.30pm.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that no arrests were made in connection with the incident.
