Two men stabbed in Swindon as police hunt woman ‘who fled scene’

Police are hunting a woman ‘who fled the scene’ of a double stabbing in Swindon.

Emergency services responded to the serious assault in the garden of a property in Clanfield Road, Park North, at around 5pm this evening (Saturday).

A man, aged in his 30s, and a man, aged in his 60s, were rushed to hospital with knife wounds.

Great Western Air Ambulance was tasked with the incident, but the helicopter circled approximately ten times before standing down and returning to base.

Wiltshire Police has confirmed both men’s injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening, however, further details have no yet been provided.

Officers are now seeking a woman who is said to have left the address following the attack. There is an armed police presence in the area and dog units patrolling.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident which is thought to have taken place at about 4.45pm today (12/08).

We would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have seen a woman leaving the address who is described as white, with long blonde hair in her 30s, with a slim build.

Members of the public may notice an increased police presence in the area.
