Patient ‘extracted through window’ in emergency at Swindon house

Emergency services are attending a medical incident at a house in Swindon.

999 crews descended on the address in Cricklade Road at around 11.30am today (Monday).

A fire engine, areal ladder platform appliance and rescue crews are at the scene – with firefighters reportedly extracting a patient through an upstairs window.

Once the casualty – whose condition is unknown – as removed from the building, they will be taking into a waiting ambulance and rushed to hospital for treatment.

A drone photograph, sent in to Wiltshire 999s, shows emergency teams at the incident.
