Police helicopter deployed in urgent search for missing Wiltshire man

A police helicopter has been deployed in an urgent search for a missing Wiltshire man.

Police are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of Shane Maslen, who is missing from the Chiseldon area.

The 35-year-old was last seen at around 7pm this evening (Saturday) and officers are “extremely concerned about his welfare”.

The National Police Air Service was deployed to the area to carry out and overhead search at around 8.30pm. It has since returned to its Bristol base.

Shane is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins tall of slim build with mousey brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a black and grey jumper with black jogging bottoms (both with paint splatters on them) and carrying a black rucksack.
