Teenage boy dead after emergency services rush to Wiltshire town

A teenage boy has died following a serious incident at an address in Wiltshire.

Emergency services rushed to an address in Symons Close, Tidworth, at around 4.30pm yesterday (Monday 13 March).

Wiltshire Air Ambulance, several ambulance crews and multiple police units attended the scene, where the boy – aged 16 – was tragically pronounced dead.

It’s understood that his death is being treated as a suicide.

Forensics attended the property – gathering evidence and photographing the scene until late evening.

In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: “We do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file will be prepared on behalf of H M Coroner for Wiltshire.

“Our thoughts are with the family of the boy at this difficult time.”
