Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent numerous resources to the incident – including more than 40 firefighters.

Local residents were told to close their windows and doors due to the smoke plume.

Despite huge efforts to tackle the flames overnight, two fire crews remain on the scene this morning (Monday).

The roof completely collapsed during the incident – resulting in significant damage.

Wiltshire Police cordoned off Bridge Street and King Street overnight – with parts since reopening.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. A fire investigation will take place over the coming days.
