Swindon restaurant manager denies sexually assaulting teenage boy

A Swindon restaurant manager has denied sexually assaulting a teenage boy.

60-year-old Carl Brown is accused of attacking the male at Jack’s, a restaurant on Victoria Road, Old Town, last year.

At Swindon Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday) pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual assault.

Prosecutor Asha Seenauth said the defendant, of Highworth Road, allegedly grabbed the boy’s penis and put his finger into his bottom over his clothing.

Brown will return to the same court to stand trial on 6 June. He was released on unconditional bail.

The alleged victim in this case has the lifelong legal right to anonymity. It is an imprisonable criminal offence to share any piece of information that could lead to their identification.
