Police hunt suspect after ‘unprovoked’ assault at bus depot in Salisbury

Police are hunting a suspect involved in an incident at a bus depot in Salisbury.

A man was assaulted by another man at the Salisbury Reds site in Castle Street on 29 December.

The ‘unprovoked’ attack took place at around 11.30pm as the victims washed a car at the location.

Police officers were called to the scene, but couldn’t locate the male on arrival.

The alleged victim, a man aged in his 20s, didn’t require hospital treatment for his injuries.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward – and have issued a description of the suspect.

He’s said to be described as a white male, aged 50-60 with a grey beard and wearing dark clothing. He’s said to be slim and around 5 foot 10 inches in height.
