An emergency ambulance was damaged in a crash yesterday (Friday 25 November).

The route was partially blocked by the Range Rover, which appeared to have lost a wheel in the impact, until recovery was undertaken.

It’s not clear how the collision occurred, but it’s thought the Range Rover was emerging from Manor Road when it was hit by the ambulance.

It’s not known whether the emergency vehicle was responding on blue lights at the time. Nobody suffered any notable injured in the incident.

The damaged ambulance was seen on a recovery lorry travelling along the A419 in Swindon at around 3pm, nearly seven hours after the smash.
