Swindon traffic delays made worse by another crash – involving a pedestrian

Swindon’s traffic delays have been made worse following another road traffic collision.

A pedestrian was hit by a car on Kingfisher Drive at around 4.45pm this afternoon (Wednesday 16 November).

Wiltshire Police and the ambulance service attended the incident near the junction with St Paul’s Drive.

The pedestrian involved has fortunately sustained only minor injuries in the crash.

The route is currently partially blocked by emergency services – which is causing further delays for motorists avoiding the Merlin Way closure following this morning’s A419 incident.
