Man, 30s, dies after collapsing at medical supplies factory in Swindon

A man has died after collapsing at a medical supplies factory in Swindon.

Emergency crews raced to the incident at BD, on Faraday Road in Dorcan, shortly before 7pm on Thursday evening (10 November).

Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s team of critical care paramedics also attended the scene, with the helicopter touching down on the playing field at Dorcan Academy at 7.15pm.

Despite the best efforts of first responders, the man – aged in his 30s – was pronounced dead.

Wiltshire Police confirmed the man suffered a cardiac arrest.

“Sadly, the man died at the scene. Our thoughts are with his family”, a force spokesperson said.
