Two people taken to hospital after lorry and car crash in Trowbridge

Two people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Trowbridge.

Emergency services, including Wiltshire Air Ambulance in a rapid response vehicle, were called to the scene in Hackett Place, off Leap Gate, at 1pm this afternoon (Monday 7 November).

The incident involved a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and a car.

Two people – believed to be the occupants of the car – were taken to the Royal United Hospital for treatment.

Their injuries aren’t thought to be serious, and the road was clear by 3pm.
