Numerous police vehicles were spotted swarming the housing estate, with a significant presence on William Morris Way.

On arrival, officers arrested two boys, aged 16, on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

One of the teenagers was further arrested on suspicion of committing criminal damage.

It’s understood the knives were recovered and seized by officers after the suspects attempted to hide them under cars on a resident’s driveway.
