Runner collapsing in Melksham park sparks air ambulance response

A runner collapsing in a Melksham park sparked an air ambulance response today.

Emergency services were called to the serious medical incident at King George V Park shortly before 10am this morning (Saturday, 15 October).

It’s understood a runner, taking part in the Melksham parkrun, required urgent treatment after collapsing during the event.

At least two ambulance crews and Great Western Air Ambulance from Bristol attended the scene.

The patient’s condition isn’t known at this time.
