Three males arrested after 999 call reporting suspicious activity in Swindon

Three males were arrested following a 999 call reporting suspicious activity in Swindon.

Police officers attended an address and detained two men and a 16-year-old boy at the scene.

Saeedul Ali, 21, of Beckhampton Street, and Billy-Joe Cosgrave, 25, from Azelin Court, have both been charged with conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine.

A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with the same offence.

At Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (14 October), the adult males were remanded into custody and the teenager was remanded into the care of the local authority.

The case will next be heard at Swindon Crown Court.

PC Nick Finning said: “We rely on members of the public to act as our eyes and ears – it’s really important that if you suspect a drug-related crime in your area please call us.”
