27-year-old Ben Wilson denied a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm when he appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on 22 September.

It’s claimed he pulled the vehicle over at the roadside, grabbed her hair and headbutted her face a number of times.

The alleged incident is said to have taken place in view of a young child, who was in the car at the time.

The defendant, of Dickens Avenue, Corsham, will stand trial on 5 December at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court.

He was released on bail with conditions not to contact the woman or enter Dickens Avenue.
