Police launch manhunt for ‘dangerous’ suspected rapist, 17, after Gloucester attack

[Redacted] has been located and arrested, police have confirmed. 


Gloucestershire Constabulary has launched a manhunt for a suspected rapist.

[Redacted] is described as being ‘dangerous’ by detectives who are investigating an incident in Gloucester on Friday (16 September).

The teenager is wanted for rape, serious assault and criminal damage following a spate of alleged offending in the city centre, including Albert Street.

He is described as 5ft 8in tall, medium build, with blue eyes and dark brown hair.

Police say he has links to Gloucester, Bristol and Weston-super-Mare – but could be anywhere.

Detective Sergeant Faye Satchwell-Bennett said: “This individual represents a danger to others, so we would please ask members of the public not to approach him and to instead contact police immediately.

“I also appeal directly to [Redacted] himself to do the right thing and hand himself in to us.”

Anyone who knows where [Redacted] is, or sees him, is asked to call 999 and quote incident 476 of 16 September. Alternatively, you can phone detectives investigating the case directly on 01452 753035.
