Woman needed two hours of dental work after buying cheap ‘veneers’

A Swindon woman required two hours of dental work after buying cheap ‘veneers’ online.

In search of an aesthetically pleasing smile without the price tag, the Cheney Manor Dental Practice patient bought a set of Perfect Smile Veneers on the internet for just £20.

Today, she required emergency dental work after the adhesive that was given with the item dramatically hardened around the patient’s gums and teeth.

A spokesperson for the dental practice said that adhesive should not be used in the mouth.

“Nothing about this preformed chunk of plastic is custom fit or anywhere near perfect.

“The adhesive that was given with this item was not something suitable for oral use, it immediately hardened around the patients teeth and gums.

“Please DO NOT be taken in by these products there are so many other ways we can help you get that perfect smile without resorting to cheap fixes which have the potential to ruin your teeth for life!”
