A motorcyclist was killed when she fell off her bike and was hit by a coach, police say.
The incident happened on the B390 from Chitterne towards Shrewton at approximately 2.25pm yesterday (Saturday, 17 September).
Wiltshire Police said the woman fell from her bike after colliding with a stationary van, before being struck by a coach passing in the opposite direction.
The biker, aged in her 50s, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours so that forensic collision investigation work could be carried out.
“Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time”, a spokesperson for the force said.
