Man, 30s, dies after Wiltshire Air Ambulance medics rush to incident in Swindon

A man has died following a serious medical emergency in west Swindon.

Emergency services were called to an address in Godolphin Close, Freshbrook, shortly after midday yesterday (Wednesday 7 September).

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed on Millbrook Primary School grounds so its critical care crew could swiftly attend the scene.

Local ambulance crews and several police vehicles were also at the incident.

Wiltshire Police confirmed they were called to a concern for the welfare of a man in his 30s.

Despite the best efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A force spokesperson said his cause of death was believed to be a “medical incident”, and confirmed that there were “no suspicious circumstances”.
