Unmarked police car involved in collision with motorbike in Swindon

A police car has been involved in a collision with a motorbike in Swindon.

Emergency services were called to the incident in Shaftesbury Avenue shortly after 3pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 21 August).

A 125cc motorbike was said to have crashed into the unmarked BMW X5.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that nobody was injured and no arrests were made.

In a statement, a force spokesperson said: “At around 3.10pm yesterday (21/08), a motorbike collided with a police vehicle in Shaftesbury Avenue, Swindon.

“There were no reported injuries and no arrests made.”
