Air ambulance lands in Swindon school field to attend nearby medical incident

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed for a serious incident in Swindon this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to an address in Coronel Close at around 4.30pm today (8 August).

Two ambulances and two police cars could be seen parked on the road as the first responders worked within a nearby property.

The air ambulance helicopter touched down on Ruskin Junior School field, so its team of critical care medics could provide support at the incident.

At present, the nature of the incident is unknown, but the ambulance service left at 5.20pm.

Two police vehicles remain at the scene, and Wiltshire Police has been approached for comment.
