18-year-old approached by people in balaclavas and knifed in Swindon attack

An 18-year-old man was knifed during an attack in Swindon last night (Wednesday, 28 July).

Three people wearing black clothing and balaclavas approached the victim in Doris Archer Court, Pinehurst, at around 11pm.

During the incident, he was struck with a blade – and went to the hospital for treatment.

Detective Sergeant Lou Kuklinski said: “This was a very concerning attack which left the victim with significant injuries.

“We are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident to contact us as a matter of urgency. Even a small observation could provide a vital clue to help identify those responsible.”
