At least one person seriously hurt in crash involving bus and car near Lyneham

At least one person has been seriously hurt in a crash involving a bus and a car.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A3102 between Calne and Lyneham at around 9.30am this morning (Tuesday, 12 July).

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed at the incident, with a male casualty rushed to Great Western Hospital for what Wiltshire 999s understands is a serious arm injury.

Those travelling on the 55 Stagecoach service are said to be shaken, but uninjured.

The road is expected to remain closed until around 11am. Wiltshire Police is asking motorists to find an alternative route.
