Salisbury police concerned for missing foreign-speaking man with Alzheimers

Police in south Wiltshire are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing man with Alzheimer’s, who doesn’t speak any English.

Mr Manuel Paredes, from Salisbury, left Milford Manor Rest Home at 4pm today on foot.

He is a 85 year old male, described as white, slim build with white short hair. He was wearing a yellow checked shirt and blue/grey pyjama bottoms.

He is in the later stages of Alzheimer’s disease and only speaks Spanish and French.

He is known to whistle especially when he is walking.

Wiltshire Search and Rescue (WILSAR) has been tasked to find Mr Paredes. The team have been searching the nearby area since around 9pm tonight.
