Police appeal after cyclist suffers head injuries in Chippenham crash

A cyclist has suffered serious head injuries in a crash in Chippenham last night.

A 37-year-old man from Swindon was in collision with a car on the A4 Bath Road, near The Pheasant, at around 5pm on Tuesday evening, 7 November.

Despite an air ambulance attending the scene, the casualty was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by land ambulance, where he remains now.

The cyclist is said to be on a roundabout at the time of the crash, involving a black Citroen.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101 and ask for PC2327 Hughes or call Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
