Wiltshire Air Ambulance lands in Swindon as child hit by bus outside school

A child is been hit by a bus outside a school in North Swindon.

Emergency services were called to the road traffic collision in Pioneer Road at around 3.30pm today (14 June).

The crash took place outside Oakhurst Community Primary School, where the Wiltshire Air Ambulance helicopter landed to attend the incident.

The child involved is understood to have suffered a serious leg injury.

Wiltshire Police is asking witnesses to call 01, quoting log 170 of today (14 June).
