The A350 near Trowbridge has been closed following a serious road traffic collision.
Emergency services were called to the crash in Yarnbrook, north of Westbury, at about 9.30pm tonight (4 April).
Wiltshire Police is yet to confirm any details about the incident, but say the road is likely to remain closed for a considerable amount of time.
A force spokesperson said: “We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the A350 at Yarnbrook, between Trowbridge and Westbury.
“We were called to the incident at around 9.20pm and emergency services are at the scene.
“The road has been closed between the Yarnbrook Roundabout and the junction with Church Road in Heywood and is expected to remain closed for some time.
“We would ask people to find alternative routes at this time.”
