Officers appear to have forced entry into the address through a rear gate, before making three arrests.

The property, located between The Moonrakers pub and Penhill Drive junctions, appeared to sport a large extraction pipe – but it’s not clear if it is related to the suspected drugs factory.

The force confirmed that three men were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the production of cannabis.

They have since been released under investigation.

The house was guarded by police for the duration of Thursday whilst officers carried out enquiries and forensic investigation work at the scene.
