Woman wanted in connection with thefts of food and drink from Swindon doorsteps

Police are investigating the theft of various items from doorsteps in Swindon.

In recent days and weeks, the force has received eight reports of food and drink being taken from outside properties in the Old Town area.

Items stolen include bottles of milk, orange juice and yoghurts.

The thefts have occurred in The Mall and The Marlestones.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We have released a CCTV image of a woman we would like to speak to following a spate of thefts in Swindon.

“So far we have received eight reports of bottles of milk, orange juice and yoghurts being stolen from doorsteps in Old Town, specifically The Mall and The Marlestones.

“We are trying to identify the woman pictured below as part of our enquiries, and would ask anyone with information to call us on 101, quoting crime reference 54220025164.

“Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
