Motorcyclist, 40s, killed in A350 crash involving van and car in Melksham

A motorcyclist has died following a collision on the A350 near Melksham.

Police were called to the section of Western Way between Farmers Roundabout and Semington Roundabout at around 4.30pm yesterday (09/03).

The collision involved a motorcyclist, a white van and a silver Nissan Juke.

Sadly, the motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died at the scene. His family have been informed.

Nobody else was hurt in the incident.

A section of the road was closed for about 10 hours to allow the collision investigators to examine the scene.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We would appeal for anyone with information, including anyone with dash cam footage which could assist our enquiries, to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit directly on 01225 694597 and quote log number 199 of 09/03.

“You can also email [email protected] including the log number and the date in the email subject.”
