A man has been arrested in connection with an ‘axe attack’ in Trowbridge.

Police were called to an injured man in the Manor Road/Frome Road area at around 4.45am last Friday (4 March) following reports of a man with serious injuries.

He was interviewed by detectives and released on conditional bail.
