999 crews respond as man trapped in car after collision with tree in West Wiltshire

Emergency services are dealing with a road traffic collision in Bradford on Avon.

Police have closed Frome Road in both directions after a car collided with a tree at around midday (18 February).

A man is understood to be trapped in the vehicle, with Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service tasked to extricate him.

His condition is currently unknown, the incident is ongoing and motorists are asked the avoid the area.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A car has collided with a tree on Frome Road, Bradford-on-Avon.

“One man is believed to be trapped and emergency services are currently in attendance.

“Please avoid the area as the road is blocked and only travel if essential.”
