Main road outside Calne reopens after single-vehicle road traffic collision

A main road outside Calne has reopened following a road traffic collision.

The A3102 between the town and A342 Sandy Lane was shut in both directions at around 10.30am this morning (1 February).

The collision, which happened in Mile Elm, involved a single vehicle. By 11.15am, the road had been reopened.

No one’s believed to have suffered any notable injuries in the incident.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “At around 10.30am this morning (01/02) we were alerted to a single-vehicle road traffic collision near Calne.

“It happened on the A3102 Mile Elm road and involved a silver Renault.

“Paramedics attended but nobody appeared to be seriously injured and the road was clear by 11.15am.”
