Man, 27, recalled back to prison after it’s alleged he raped woman in Swindon

A convicted robber has been recalled back to prison he was charged with two counts of rape.

Randall Reynolds, 27, appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (13 January).

The man, of Ashley House Probation Hostel, Bristol, is accused of raping a woman in Swindon on Friday 7 January this year.

He is also charged with threatening to petrol bomb a woman’s home three days later, on Monday, 10 January.

Reynolds, who was out on licence, has been returned to prison where he will serve the rest of his three years and nine month sentence.

He did not enter pleas to the two counts of rape and making a threat to damage or destroy property.

The case was sent to Swindon Crown Court. He will next appear on 11 February for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
