Arrests after crash involving Range Rover and ambulance car in Swindon

Three men have been arrested after a Range Rover and ambulance rapid response vehicle crashed in Swindon.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Cricklade Road at around 10.45pm last night (10 December).

Nobody was seriously injured, but the three occupants of the Range Rover were arrested.

A 36-year-old man from Telford was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. He has been released under investigation while investigations continue.

A 21-year-old man from Bury was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug. He has also been released under investigation.

Janaid Rahman, 21, of St Peter’s Street, Rochdale, has been charged with possession of a Class B drug.

He has been released on unconditional bail to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court in the new year.”
