It’s claimed those within the vehicle – said to be one female and five males – were wearing Halloween attire and make-up.

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was called to the fatal incident, where it’s understood the charity’s specialist medics worked at the roadside.

A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other men, aged 19 and 27, were taken to the regional major trauma centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol with life-threatening injuries.

A 29-year-old man suffered serious injuries, and the other occupant of the vehicle, a 20-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.

Fire crews from Dorset and Wiltshire and Rescue Service and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident.

The road will remain closed for collision investigation and recovery work for most of today (Saturday, 30 October).
